The “quality” myth of so called “high-end” Sunglasses

Well I did ask myself this a number of times …because the general perception (as created by the media and advertising people) is that if it is cheap, it must be low-grade and if it is high quality, it cannot come cheap!
That myth has been busted by Wholesale designer sunglasses.
From my years of usage of various sunglasses and my research (on the net and through personal experience) I have come to the deduction that cheap sunglasses are not necessarily of cheap quality and expensive sunglasses necessarily of good quality.
It all depends on the lens and the manufacturer and also the advertising budget of the company.
The greater the ad hoopla and brand endorsements by celebrities, the more will be its price!
It has nothing to do with the quality of the eyewear.
All sunglasses are primarily made to block out the glare of sunlight when you are out in the open and also to cut out the bright lights in the night time.
But, apart from their functional value they also have a “sartorial status” and “accessory value” that adds to the price of the glares.
Most people do not see it as a device to prevent damage to their eyes but buy a pair of sunglasses for its beauty factor! These are the “brand hunting” people who make the prices of these glares swell like crazy!!
If you just want a sturdy, good looking, smart pair of sunglasses that are high in quality …I strongly recommend you the cut the “AD” crap and head straight for wholesale sunglasses that are high in quality and soft on the pocket!!
Remember one thing pals, that it is the ‘lens that matter and not the frame’. All the so-called high-end designer glares that cost the earth are actually made of the same lens like any other wholesale sunglasses lens but they manipulate the prices when it comes to the FRAMES!
